This year, Caran d'Ache is teaming up with Switzerland for UNHCR during their Colourful Days campaign with a mission to bring colour and hope into the lives of those forced to flee, focusing on supporting the education of displaced girls. As the number of displaced individuals continues to rise, it's crucial to support this cause through the power of art and creativity. 

Caran d'Ache has always been committed to supporting both local and international organizations. This year, the Swiss iconic brand is collaborating with Switzerland for UNHCR, the national partner of the UN Refugee Agency in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Switzerland for UNHCR helps mobilize resources and raise awareness for those forced to flee. With over 120 million displaced people worldwide, and 40% of them children, this partnership aims to provide essential education for young girls. 

UNHCR's Primary Impact program, inspired by the success of the Educate A Child initiative, focuses on enrolling and retaining refugee children in primary education. Over the past decade, the Educate A Child Program has successfully enrolled 1.6 million out-of-school refugee children.

Colourful Days to Support Girls' Education 

During their Colourful Days campaign, Caran d'Ache will donate 20% of the total sales to Switzerland for UNHCR.

Refugee girls are often at a higher risk of being out of school, even though two-thirds of the world's countries have achieved gender parity in primary education enrollment. In areas affected by conflict and fragility, the enrollment rates for girls are significantly lower than those for boys. During their Colourful Days campaign, Caran d'Ache will donate 20% of the total sales to Switzerland for UNHCR.
