About the Auction
Curated by Micol Ap, founder and CEO of VerticalCrypto Art, and led by Leila Khazaneh, our Innovation advisor, the sale brings together eleven leading voices in digital art and culture. A significant portion of the proceeds from the sale will directly benefit UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, supporting its mission to protect and assist millions of displaced people around the globe.

Handle With Care: Vinnie Hager Wins Bridging Worlds Open Call for UNHCR Auction
Additionally, we are thrilled to reveal that the winning artwork from the open call is "Handle With Care" by Vinnie Hager. This captivating piece was selected from nearly 200 submissions by a panel of experts and will be prominently featured in the sale as the eleventh artwork to be auctioned. Hager’s work reimagines the iconic Chromie Squiggle, challenging the concept of borders—both physical and metaphorical.
