On 4 and 5 July 2026, Geneva hosts the Geneva Triathlon, one of the most celebrated sporting events on the shores of Lake Geneva. Switzerland for UNHCR is the official charity partner — and this 2026 edition is our most ambitious yet.
Whether here in Switzerland or in a refugee camp, sport carries hope, courage, and resilience. Its universal quality is its power to bring people together — to build unity through shared effort.
Every year, families forced to flee travel billions of kilometres in search of safety. Their determination is a source of inspiration for us all. The Geneva Triathlon is a way of walking alongside them — one kilometre at a time.
The solidarity starts on Friday evening. Join us for a friendly Pre-Run open to everyone — a warm-up event in the spirit of pushing boundaries together, before the official races get underway at the weekend.
