Andrés Luther has been Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees of Switzerland for UNHCR since March 2024. He is a strategic communications advisor who works with clients at the intersection of financial services, technology and capital markets. He is equity partner of Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Counselors and a member of the Board of H/Advisors, the leading global network of corporate and financial communications consultancies . Prior to joining his current firm in 2014 he was global Co-Head of Corporate Communications for Credit Suisse and before that head of corporate communications and investor relations for Day Software, which today is part of Adobe. Andrés has a degree in Spanish and English literature and linguistics.  

Being a refugee, fleeing your home is a tragedy and a defining experience for mankind. It is one of the humanitarian causes, which creates most controversy because of the sad paradox that too often the victims are perceived as a threat. I deeply identify with the cause. Through its experience and reach UNHCR achieves impact. I am honoured to contribute by helping as part of Switzerland for UNHCR to raise awareness and mobilise funds from the private sector.
